He didn't stop there. After he found out this was my first TT, he gave me just about every piece of information I need to keep up with my TT.
I recently (yesterday) purchased a travel trailer from a private seller and had an RV repair man with me the whole time helping me out with everything inside and out, but wasn't able to give me much advice on the tires, axles, and brakes. So being that I will be towing it over 1,000 miles soon I wanted to have the tires, axles and brakes inspected by someone who knew what they were doing. I towed the trailer to Delaware from Central Jersey and tried calling multiple RV service centers in Delaware only for them to tell me that they wouldn't have time to look at it before I leave (which is in about 3 weeks).
I recommend calling John before any other RV repair shop. He will give you the the truth you need to know.
Low and behold I call Certified Honest RV and John answers the phone and for the next half hour he personally talked me through every single step that I needed to take in order to maintain safe towing with tires, how to repack the bearings if needed, and info on brakes.
I wasn't charged a dime and this info was definitely valuable $$$.
Great doing business with you. I found Honest RV Repair on Craigslist and contacted them with a leak issue. John promptly called me the next day and was there to check it out and fixed it before the end of the day. I was recommending him to a friend before he was out of the driveway.
I thought these reviews had to be too good to be true, but John is the real deal. Called him on a Sunday morning with a wiring/breaker issue in my RV, and he not only diagnosed the problem correctly over the phone while walking his dogs, but he told me exactly how to fix the problem myself, wished me a Merry Christmas, and told me to call back if I had any more issues! Everything he said seems to be spot on. He didn't charge me or ask for anything in return, so the least I can do is recommend him here on Google!
